The NaNoWriMo

During November, I was a part of a competition among writers...a competition against oneself. It was a competition where you are not allowed to stop. You're not allowed to get stuck. There is no such thing as a writer's block. The only thing you see is your goal, and you have to accomplish it. This competition was called NaNoWriMo -- National November Writing Month. The goal is to write 50,000 words in just 30 days. The prize: self-satisfaction and a few things here and there. You have a chance to win a prize from several sponsors, which might include a free published book, or a free book review from talented and skilled editors. I took a part in this competition and dished out more than 60,000 words. It's an accomplishment really, since last year I'd tried and only made it to, I think, 15,000. The novel is still incomplete, but I have shared it on my Wattpad account, if you're interested. Go check it out!
